Favorite map thread

Whats your favorite map/maps and why? These are just some that come to mind right away.

Some of mine not in any particular order:

Any map made by Slain, looks good and game play is always fun.

Stairs of Health is another, always action packed and intense for me.

The same statment above goes for Bad NeighborsV2.

There are alot of maps that I like, I am just wondering which ones you guys/gals like.

433 and LostMarines are two that I hold on a level all their own for how much fun i have playing them.

Also, Saturated and SquirrelBalls (playing my own maps give them that added bit of fun)

for some reason i pretty much NEVER have fun playing poolstone. Don't like how it flows or something. I do think it looks pretty sweet though.

I here ya there. I feel like a lost marine though. InstaGIB doesnt belong in any map except an intaGIB map.

My favorite is Saturated. Reminds me of home.

i am normally totally against instagib, but i RARELY see anybody use it in lost marines, especially since it is both hard to find and a pain to grab so it usually doesn't come in to play. I still refuse to ever put it in a map.

It is also weird that I like lost marines so much even when it has no shock ammo when I thrive of the shock rifle. I had to force myself into getting used to throwing the shock rifle with 1-2 shock cores left so I could pick up the weapon again fully loaded. I never really used that technique much before lost marines.

433 pretty good, also AnthonyBs1Day, Warrior, Stairs of Health, Hill Forts, 2BigBoxesFilledWithLava.

biltos well hidden shock rifles are actually worse than putting it out in the middle of the map, balance wise. if it's where everyone can find it, it's annoying but balacned. if it's very well hidden, generally only the better players find/get it (if they choose to) and so if a good player elects to use it, then it's just plain not fair.

i kind of agree with you idle, but i also usually go about 10 games in a row before i see somebody actually use the rifle, so i think it is good that it is hidden. the ONLY time i may go for it is if i have the shock rifle but no ammo, my team is down, my team has nobody else that can kill a decent player, and the other team has a very good player who is constantly loaded with goodies.
