The Clash are outstanding. Their best album was London Calling, without a bad song on it. Sandinista has great music on it too (Somebody Got Murdered, Police On My Back, etc.) but has a small amount of pretentious annoying stuff as well.

their first two albums--The Clash and Give 'em Enough Rope are worth listening too as well.

Yeah--- anything Clash is great...and just about all is better than Rock the Casbah... I caught Joe Strummer's current act in Cincy a couple of years ago with the Specials opening...

Rudie Can't Fail from London Calling is one of my fav's... but all time fav would have to be Justice Tonight/Kick It Over... great ska beat.

Do you know "Pressure Drop"... Clash did it but you gotta have it soung by The Specials.

Hort, you should listen to the version of "Pressure Drop" by Toots and the Maytals(on the soundtrack for movie "The Harder they Come" (that is, assuming you don't know it already). Amazing album, one of my all-time favorites, esp. "Many Rivers to Cross." Not a bad movie either.

The Specials also Rule!
