Hey guys....i thought MX 518 was a cool gaming mouse but recently i've come across some who say its not worth the buck$. help me decide whether I should buy it or not ~~

I have the mouse personally and I think it's a great mouse.
The sensitivity is sick and can be controled on the fly from 2 buttons (1 on top, 1 below) by the scroll wheel. The logitech interface is great tool also and allows u to set parameters for each game individually. I also got it on sale at best buy for $40 after my last mouse died out. gl. |

OK...so all of u guys recommend mx518....
BTW, the g5 is available for a few buck$ more....so which 1 should i choose?? If there isnt much difference in their performance,i would prefer to save those bucks as i have to buy a gfx card also. PS: Hey nemesis...that is G1 optical mouse...eh? |

it all depends on what you wanna do with the mouse. i have a 510 (previous gen) worked fine. if this is to be a 'gaming mouse' its hard to tell. for me it doesnt matter, i'd rather use an old ms explorer 3.0 w/ its 800dpi. but it died after 4years so i got a razer mouse, which took some time to get used to but im fine w/ now.
if its # of buttons, some places have had the media logitech mouse that lights up when u get new email and such. me personaly wont buy anymore logetech devices b/c of their crappy drivers. (keyboard makes it so UT wont run) |
