Website programs?

Is there by chance a program(s) that you experts out there would recommend that could do all things that I would need to create a php website, that could handle all aspects of this (graphics, rollovers, scripting, actions, functions, etc.)?

I have heard that dreamweaver does alot, and I also hear that photoshop/paintshop is ok, but I want to stop listening to other people's questions and dive in the web world and create my own website, and as you can see from my beginning webpage that I am completely unskilled and way in over my head. I know that this is the story of the newb that wants to create the best website ever quickly, but unlike all the others I would like to get familiar with one program before I upload my pages.

I think that I will have to learn PHP and MySQL because I want member stuff (access to different pages, different themes, etc.).
I don't quite know of the design and layout of the site yet, but a cadd-like graphics program would be helpful (used autocadd 2002 to make graphic on beginning webpage).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Why learn PHP when you can learn Java (if you need to start one or the other from scratch). Like I mentioned before, Java is free. You can also do JDBC calls for database access directly from the code.

I am not familiar with PHP myself. Also not up on all the capabilities of DreamWeaver UltraDev. We use it for coding Voice XML rather than HTML.

I'm working on a website and it looks pretty good, i use dreamweaver, front Page, fireworks, and paintshop pro 7
I like adobe, but its really time consuming to learn.

To program PHP, there is one program that I can recommend: Notepad (included in all Windows versions )

To make a website, the best choice I think is Dreamweaver, and for grafix use Adobe Photoshop...

For animated websites use Macromedia Flash

Don't listen to people who say that Frontpage is the best, it isn't, it generates obsolete code...

Photoshop and Flash are time consuming to learn, but Dreamweaver is easy to learn, but its the pro's choice...
