max 2 ase

ok i can export from max to ase then import to unreal.
BUT it never gives me the textures anybody know how to get the textures in as well?

in the texture browser:

File > import

import the textures THEN import the mesh

lol that my problem the 3d models i have used so far just has the model can i export the textures from max as well but only get 1 file .ase
from memory i set it to do so but ued never finds them

I beleive that when you import the model, it looks for the textures for it by name. If you have used a texture called 'myRandomTex' in 3dMax, then myRandomTex must be in a package, loaded in UED. else you can load it later and set the texture in the properties of the model.
