Making/Importing custom static meshes.

Hey, can lightwave stuff, and bryce 3d stuff be imported into UnrealEd? I havnt used lightwave in a while, so i dont remember the file extension, but if stuff from LW and Bryce CAN be imported, then i assure u my maps would look 50 times better.... any thoughts?

Lightwave extension is .lwo (lightwave object) and it's fully supported by UnrealEd. Just make sure the mesh is in only one layer and is only made of triangles.

Some people have ALL the luck, you should try importing terragen meshes into lightwave, theres a pluging for it , i'd try it but i dont have lightwave, poops

UnrealEd only imports .ase and .lwo files.

So i dunno if u could save any objects in Cinema 4d to those file extensions. I personally have never used Cinema 4d.

You might be able to use MilkShape to convert from Cinema4Ds filetype to one compatible with UEd, but I don't know for sure.
