I just posted the original version of it in that post. It's perfectly tileable. When I tried it in the game it really soaked up a lot of light so I toned it down a bit. Whenever I converted it to .jpg so you all could see it I brightened it up a bit. It looks like rock with some kind of green moss on it in little specks. Is anyone in the mood for some lightning?? I have a lightning texture that I used in a skybox in a map I would not wish for the devil to see but it didn't come out too bad. There are 4 lightning textures and it's best to use them on a translucent special lit surface with flickering special lit lights to illuminate them and animate them. You could also use them on a mover if you didn't like the special lit stuff. There is also an ugly one I made for a floor while I was playing with a whirl and pinch filter one day and another fairly good stone texture. Oh and for the record I'm also a .pcx fan as I've experienced some bad probs myself with .bmp files. I tried to import a 256x256, palletized (indexed, 256 color, whatever you wanna call it), .bmp file and I got some psychadelic results to say the least!. LOL I've stuck with .pcx ever since and have not had a problem except whenever I would forget to go 8 bits per pixel with them or something. That's psychadelic too!. Edit: XepptizZ I've been tinkering with than cool new found knowledge you found in this link. http://wiki.beyondunreal.com/wiki/Selecting_Surfaces and I've been playing with that AdvancedTexturePaste and I gotta say that is a very useful piece of knowledge! You don't want to use advanced texture paste on pependicular surfaces only parallel ones or you'll get some weird results but this does take about half the work out of scaling and aligning textures quickly!. Here is a small texture pack I made which was a bit of an experiment. They are totaly hand drawn textures (pencils) and touched up in MGI photosuite in order to enhance them. It is experimental and sort of rough as the wall tex doesnt line up perfectly. I will hopefully complete this pack soon.

I took your block texture Uncle Bob and made it tile correctly. I had to sttttrrrreeeetttttcccchhhh it out a bit horizontally and vertically but it's still your drawing and it now tiles correctly. Is this what you were talking about when you said "as the wall tex doesnt line up perfectly"??. Try this one in your map. The individual blocks will be a bit bigger because of my stretching I did on it but use it if you like it! You don't have to thank me if you like it.

yup...nice idea from Xept...
Once I've got a total weirdy idea of how a map could look totally cel-shaded...For my feeling a map could be so leet with just paint-textures...not photo shop textures, cauze it would look to realistic... I've already made some textures to show you what I meant.. Greetsz...

Could someone list a list of all the good texture packs with snowy things in them as it would be useful. There is a good one that comes with DM-Iceotoxin but i cant remeber what it is called.
