Tips for NOOBs

Hello, anyone got any tips for NOOBs? I just started, but I'll start:

0) Double jumps, dodge-jumps (walls)

1) Hawkwind said that heading 45 degrees different makes you double jump farther... interesting...

2) Keybinds are done by changing the user.ini file in the ut2k4/system directory

3) Play instagib to learn when you are and are not hitting people, and spectate... I don't think bots are anything like people

Please, where is an online list of keybinds? I don't want to buy the book

Any advice on changing the mouse settings from the defaults?

Anything else?!?

About keybinds: similar threads here and here...And that's about all I know of it.

The lower your mouse sensitivity is the better your aim will be, but this goes at the cost of your turning reflexes; eg. the flak cannon plays out better with high sensitivity. There's no golden rule on this one: just make sure you're comfortable with the setting

Ehm...I try to collect all tips I know in my guides (check the signature), but the main rule is practice. And then practice. After that, practice some more. And so on. Good luck

GodizMe posted sum kool news on that a short while after 2004 released . It was an app that had total customization capabilties for ur keybinds. Down to the slightest detail. I suggest Kermy search GodizMe's posts to see the app link.

Tip:
Try to play with "weapon hide" good for your aim. Worked for me. The less garbage in your screen the better view. Use different huds with different colors to see the difference between weapons.

and practice instagib, and slowly work your way up in the bot difficulty. soon you will have awesome accuracy, like my Holy #&^% kill last night in instagib with godlike bots. or my 102 kills with the sniper rifle last night with godlike.
