Ministry of Porn.

Britain Fires Civil Servants at 'Ministry of Porn'

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmp...ternet_porn_dc

Quote:
LONDON (Reuters) - The British government has fired 19 civil servants and disciplined more than 200 in an unprecedented crackdown on viewing Internet pornography at work, officials said Thursday.

Breaking the story with a front-page headline "Ministry of Porn," The Sun newspaper said staff at the Department of Work and Pensions had accessed two million pages of Web porn in the last year. One employee alone accessed 103,000 hardcore images.

The DWP would not confirm these figures, but said its probe also resulted in one criminal prosecution and a police investigation into two others,
Government Budget Offices noticed astronomical hand lotion bills.

The one thing they don't tell is that they probably were looking for ways to cut staffing at the time but had no credible reason to sack people, so they decide to crack down on pron at work to filter some people out!!

Just my opinion, cuz I don't think it's such an evil thing LOL

_If_ they were getting their work done, it probably would not be such a big deal. I run the IT Deparment where I work. In the instances where someone had a pr0n desire, they would spend 4+ hours of the day surfing pr0n and then complain about not having enough time in the day to do their job and wanting permanent overtime. A quick scan of their 'work habits' and a printout later, and the situation is magically 'resolved'.

Just my experience

White Gloves. You guys had that real hardcore crap going on up in the industrial side of England for awhile the white gloves. What was that movement called, it was death metal meets techno. Real hard scary crap.

What's the big thing in dance music these days? They still pushing two-step? Is still jungle/break-beats still popular?

freshie <-- reformed raver.

Acid House was a BIG thing in the 90's then came ultra Hardcore Rave music in the form of venues called 'Rezerection'...'Judgement Day' etc, These were the scary crap ones lol They would top like 500bpm and leave it so the clubber couldn't dance but would wave their arms and make box shapes and stuff hehe. I guess with all the drug abuse it kinda slowed everything down a little anyway!

I'm not sure if these things still happen cuz the place they used to hold em round where I live got torn down lol The police cracked right down on the venues cuz of all the drug dealing!
