Database Problems

We had some database problems this morning, and have lost all posts since Friday April 26th have been lost.

Everything else, users, account information, STATS, maps and whatever, are still intact.

We will soon be implemeting some scripts to periodically (every 2 hours) backup the forums / website databases.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Why are you guys supporting Mikey, he is obviously a no good HACK! I say fire the whole lot of admins and put me in charge. I think my mellow attitude and fair thinking perspective on all kinds of people would make me perfect for the job.

ok, since we lost everything since last friday, i offer this post in service to all of those who may not have read the forums and believe they missed out on critical data essential to life on this planet. here's what i remember...

log: Friday, April 26th through Sunday, April 28th, 2002

1. Recon & Brian busted 2 to 4 bot cheatin' bastards; 2 of which were subsequently banned by the Boss

2. SIAB continued his quest to brainwash all other players while attempting quasi-apoligetic response... little has changed one way or the other.

3. B.C. sonidered on and on about a whole bunch of stuff... most of us are still scrunching our faces, shaking our heads and muttering wtf.

4. Steelcock is still competing with arch rival B.C. for the upcoming SDP SpamKing '02 award.

5. Once again, there were a few attempts made to discredit the macusers... bah!... it will take more than a few, cheap and lifted one-liners to bring down the mighty dominion of iSatan.

6. Little resolution was found in the neverending confusion regarding Dave, his whereabouts, contraband or mental status.

7. While not posted in the forums, let it be known that i saw Freakish pull the "sneaky-manipulating-cow / flag-through-the-window-trick" on server2 yesterday... bad cow bad!
