Review Requests

**EDITED 9/02/2002**

You may now request reviews from your own map page at

http://www.unrealplayground.com/mymaps.php

YOU NO LONGER NEED TO POST IN THIS THREAD TO REQUEST A REVIEW.

You may only have one map in the review queue at any time.

You *must* have your map uploaded to the Playground to request a review (the system only allows requests on maps that are in the database), so if you are having trouble uploading a map just ask for help and we'll get you through it.

We still suggest you look over the Schema so you know how your map is being reviewed.

And be sure to take a look at the review queue to see how far down the list your map is.
****Original Post Below****

Rather than having to peruse all map-related threads looking for review requests, it would be easier for us reviewers if you would post any requests in this thread. We won't look anywhere else except this thread for requests.

A reminder: we try to process requests in order and will pretty much review anything you want...for now.

We suggest you look over the Schema so you know how your map is being reviewed.

For those who don't want to read the schema, pay close attention to the following excerpt:

Before you request a review, either check to be sure the map has been uploaded to the Playground, or in your request include a working download link (if you can't give us a direct download link, give us a link to the page containing the download link). If you are the author, please just upload it here as opposed to sending a link.

Could you please review CTF-AncientWar. It's my first major public map, so take it easy.

Paint a Bull's Eye on Me!

I'll get in the queue with "CTF-RingOfFire", I want to see what I can do to make my second CTF map better than the first.

It's actually playing pretty well on the server, people have learned to control the volcano-side-tunnel and I am seeing some teamwork and a few tricks that I hadn't forseen. If I were doing the map over I'd forgo the temple-side-tunnel altogether and just have a ledge on that wall leading down to the rear of the temple. That would pretty much cut the map in half, still making it Large, but not Huge.

Fire away.

Uhhh oh.

I'll curtail work on my next map until I read your review.

It's playing on server one now, it comes up every twelve hours or so (if you haven't got the chance to play it on-line).

i would like my maps revieved if you find the time....
Or at least one of them....

BTW, blito4, your Lights_out map rocks.
Very quick indeed.
Who needs detail textures, when you can have the raw speed of 4 bit, 1 colour black.

Amazed at the framerate....good layout too....
opps, this sounds like a review.....

While I have no problem with eventually reviewing all your maps, it's not quite fair to dump them all in the queue right now and make any future requests sit behind them..

I realize we don't have any rules posted yet for requesting reviews or anything so no worries... (the rules will be up soon though..).

So..pick one to be reviewed for now. When the review is up, request another.

One of the rules will be that only 1 map by any given author can be in queue at any time.
