Hardly seems worth posting this...
But the Sabbath told me to.
I've just started (actually restarted) work on a map designed to confuse you. I call it DM-Surrealism. The original map got full of holes and BSP barriers so I started again with this wonderful corridor of... wonderfulness. So here's the map. No bots, obviously; it's just one room. I'm only posting it because Sabby decided that the world needs to see this trippiness. I've not even finished texturing it Oh. Hi everyone ![]()

thanks! maybe I will!
OK anyway I've updated the link to a new thing... Can someone tell me if it sucks or runs really badly (ignoring polygon clips and the like -- the BSP ain't that well-built) or something, because I quite like the corridor now...

I thought it was cool. Liked that go out one slot/door and come back in thru another.
Loved the whole effect, it does indeed inspire "trippiness" ![]() Tech stuff you'll have to wait for someone else to help you out.

Cool, glad you liked that
I've had some HOM problems with it which arrived when I built the BSP, and I can't keep UEd stable enough to fix them but I'll get there ![]()

Update.
The link has been updated again. I turned the corridor into a straight one rather than a curvy effort. The effect is somewhat less trippy but I still like it. Also I made the nice upside-down bridge ![]() I work on a skybox now... ![]()

I've made a new room, quite a large one. The platform on one wall leads directly to the stairs on the other thanks to a warpzone, while at the same time the stairs on the other side are at 90 degrees as far as their "down" is concerned. Hence, the stairs appear to come out of the ceiling and go into the floor.
Here's a rudimentary image:

*bump*
I've made stuff. Y'all might've noticed my whingeings about bot paths in the other forum. If anyone can knock some up for me I'd be kinda chuffed, but it's no biggie cos the map's not done yet. Here it is: http://www.unrealplayground.com/download.php?mapid=3399 So if anyone has any ideas for something surreal I could put in it, that'd be pretty top. My next port of call is to make proper versions of the staircase that is sort of hanging around unfinished and ostracised in the map there. The idea is that you can (if you like) go running up and up and up but never reach the top, but if you turn around you'll reach the bottom pretty much straight away. ! These will act as a sort of teleporter, because when you turn around the corridor at the bottom will be different to the one you came in... in.So please have a run around. If anyone can fix any bugs they find..! !
