Stupid n00b question (ish)

I'm wondering where I can find the stats people talk about, I know NGstats shut down ages ago, but local Stats in UT about accuracy and stuff. Is there an .int file or something lurking anywhere?

It's only recently that I've started playing on-line again, I usually just spank about with map / mod / skin creation in UT and as such have only ever really used it for playtesting or the odd game against bots, and since now I've made this massive run-on sentence, I'd better get to a point.

Where are the stats? Can I look up my accuracy on the enforcer and stuff like that?

Yeah, shame you can't use images. My image one is much smaller, pity there isn't a size limit thing on images in footers or something. I guess it's too open to abuse.

Back to topic in hand, I guess I'm not looking hard enough, I still can't find anything stats-ish.

I haven't figured out demo's either.

[edit] You meant the UP homepage. Yeah, I've not played enough for that. I was talking about stats stored locally in UT, I've heard people talking about local stats in UT. I just don't know where to look[/edit]

I've been playint UT since its GOTY release and as far as i can tell, the only stats I can find is if you go into a level (or hit escape at that very first menu) and press F2.

Nice bit of info there but nothing on accuracy and such.

I'll do a bit of good ol' file scouring though with me Hex Editor. See what I come up with.

Edit: Now you're gonna love this. In the games directory theres a folder called Logs. Those text files contain histories of each battle. It took me about 3 seconds to decode all the info and if someone knows how to write statistic analasys programmes (like mIRC Stats) then get in touch. Could be a REAL cool programme

Well, I think you can log locally for ngstats, then there is a directory in your ut folder for it. I'll poke around a bit.

That's what I'm looking for, Local NGstats. I found something, but it's unreadable in notepad.

It's just going on what some other people were talking about elsewhere on the playground about enforcer accuracy and stuff. Do you only get those kind of stats if you are running a server?
