Cool Lurid; horrible in fierceness or savagery

This is a map I've been working on for a couple of days, and I'm quite happy with how it turned out. It's trimmed (Scourgem ought to like that ) and it's got plenty of z-axis. Here's some screenshots.

Don't forget to set the default gametype.

I LOVE that lift jump in the center! Maybe notch the ceiling above just a little to make it just a wee bit easier to do without hitting your head? You have to be up against the wall as it is now.

Yeah, there are a couple of similar things to tweak... zone names, flag platforms, and gametype...

I'll consider those notches, but I'm a little loath to eat away at the already receding floorspace there. Also, I've got to fix up those shock cores...

Check ammo placement again-- I remember seeing at least one mini box that looked sunk in the floor-

Haven't checked it out yet, but I'll say this: Thank you for not putting a flag stand in there. One of things that piss me off the most are raised or novelty flag stands that hamper dodging and movement around the single most important spot on the map, the flag.

It might not be as pretty, but its alot more functional, imo. I think the worst flag stands on a popular map are in EliteArena. I've had sooo many caps not scored because I apparently didn't touch the exact right spot or got caught on the little raised ledge trying to make that last desperation dodge.

Yeah, what those guys just said. I can't count how many times I missed a cap opportunity because of a pointlessly raised flag stand, Base9 being a particularly evil example.

In the final, I added a flag stand, but it's embedded in the platform, not raised, so no worries!

Nicely done man, glad to see some lifts have been added in the lower central bit now. I could never clear that central wall thing and it needed something there, works well now.

It's a great map for Shock/EightBall spamming, I ran it a couple of times with 9 bots and it was fast and furious.

Best bit is leaving the middle bit where you have a walkwat going across the lower corridor and firing a few grenades up from below, and the same with the lower route up to the flag.

On thing -> lack of music - Slows the orders menu as it loads the default UT menu music. If you don't want music in the map, save an empty text file as nomusiclurid.umx and use that, then UT won't try loading music.

I dunno, easy to overlook. Just might be critical if playing on-line, I know my UT freezes for ages when I use the voice menu on a map without music.

Sabbath, I'm not sure what you're talking about, regarding music. I did specify a music track, to my knowledge...
