Unhappy I can't seem to download

I don't know what I seem to be doing wrong, but for whatever reason I cannot seem to download. The download link simply refreshes the page. I have tried registration and enabling cookies to see if either of the two would fix my trouble, but neither has. I don't mind keeping the registration, I would have anyway because I like the theme of this page (just discovered it today). Nonetheless, I would like to download some maps if possible. Can somebody lead me in the right direction? Thanks.

Not sure, but I read that they use a script that prevents leeching f maps by other websites that just link to UP, so they have this protection system. Somehow it ticks off Norton antivirs/firewall and it will keep refreshing. Try turning it off an downloading. If not work, then turn it back on.

Cool Great Help, Thanks

Thanks Doc and KoolAid Sniffer, you were both right on. I had to disable ZoneAlarm. This is a great site, and your prompt help makes my first impression that much better. Thanks again, and enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Tidings

Thanks for the hospitality SoBeIt, I am truly impressed by this great site and the affability of the people who visit it. I will definitely help the financial cause with some donations when I get the cash. In the meantime, I'm gonna enjoy the talented community and embrace their support to figure out what the best way is to start the artistry of developing maps - it seems like the killer hobby I've been looking for. I can't think of a better place than this site. SeeYa Around. SoBe... yourself. Hehe.

If you're interested in getting into mapping I've written a tutorial for people new to the editor here:

http://www.unrealops.com/tutorials-uedintro1.htm

I also have other miscellaneous tutorials on my site, www.angelmapper.com, and Jebus was kind enough to compile a list of helpful tutorials if you need more: http://www.unrealplayground.com/foru...threadid=10151

Have fun and good luck, welcome to UP.

You guys are awesome...

Thanks for all of your help and enthusiasm, I'll be sure to check out your suggestions with interest and excitement sometime after class tomorrow. For now, I'm swamped with homework with the end nowhere in sight... j/k... I'm really almost done, but I want to be able to check this stuff out when I have free time and can devote my full attention and concentration to this learning process (ie after classes tomorrow). I'll start posting more when I have some legit questions that aren't mentioned in any tutorials. In the meantime, I don't want to offend or frustrate any of these considerate people by asking some obvious question that is blatantly covered in the instructions that they've dedicated their time to composing and organizing. So until next time, see ya, and by the way... I'd like to reciprocate all of these hospitable gestures by welcoming you all... to me - (the music strikes, the lights fade, the curtains rise, the show begins...) Happy Monday.

Is 'birrabrothers' relevant for UT2003?

Hey Cloud_Nine, I just checked out that site and saw that it kept making references to UEd 2. Isn't the UT2003 UEd version 3? Since I am familiar with neither yet, I was wondering if those version 2 tutorials are relevant. Thanks.
