death ball
he.
if i go on the unreal playground #5. i couldn't download the death ball. so i couldn't play. is there anyone who can help me? could i download it seperately? and install it. tx kzoe |

Death Ball
So why the deathball mod? No one can DL directly which discourages players to join the server. Most will move on to another server like skippers cove. Ultimately the best competition over the 2 or so years has been on the playground. Lets keep it that way. So whats up with the UT2K3 server? Are there any plans to make it more user friendly?

Why can't you download the mod? It is compressed for in game downloads (although it is still quite large), and also available on our files page. Please provide more detail regarding the difficulties you are having with downloading and installing.

Death Ball
Hi
I tried a number of times to log on to the UP server (2003) but it always reported an error.This was over an extended period of time; several weeks perhaps. I think it was server refused to send deathball package. I have since follwed a link from the forums to the DB site and Dl'd it from there. I can now get onto the server. Although, I think that the less savy user would not be able to sift through and figure out how to do that. This may be the cause for the consistantly low population in server 5. UP has always had plenty of competition, even way back when it was stealthDP.com. I for one would love to see the server full and I am sure that it will be soon. Keep up the good work.

We are running the latest version of DeathBall, v1.4b. If you download and install the mod from our files page, then all will be well with the Playground server.
Not all servers run the same version, and the authors, in their infinite wisdom, did not change the names of files between versions, so you can ONLY play on servers of the same version that you've installed. Once you get in, you'll find that deathball can be extremely addictive.
