Spectacular Trailer for 'Flying Swords of Dragon Gate' 3D with Jet Li
from firstshowing.net ................. "Thrust together by forces of nature... ripped apart by greed... a fortune awaits to anyone that survives... Dragon Gate." Hot damn, this looks crazy. There's a new trailer out for a kung fu martial arts epic that goes by the lengthy title The Flying Swords of Dragon Gate, starring Jet Li as Chow Wai On. If you love martial arts, anything, you've got to see this. Directed by Hark Tsui of Detective Dee and the Mystery of the Phantom Flame, the focus is on the 3D, and they really go all out. The quotes are from trades reviews, as this premiered at the Berlin Film Festival and opened around the world last year. But it still looks damn fun.
Flying Sword of Dragon Gate, written & directed by Hark Tsui , picks up three years after the infamous Dragon Inn was burnt down in the desert when its innkeeper Jade vanished (inspired by Tsui's 1992 film Dragon Inn ). A new gang of marauders had taken over: innkeepers by day, and treasure hunters by night. The inn is the rumored location of a lost city buried under the desert and its hidden treasure would only be revealed by a gigantic storm every sixty years. The gang used the inn as a front to locate the lost treasure. Indomina is bringing Flying Sword in 3D to IMAX theaters on August 31st coming up.
