Borderlands 2 “Countdown to Aweseome” has started

A countdown has begun on the Borderlands 2 site, and when it reads “0″ across the board, fans will receive a graffiti surprise straight from Gamescom.

The countdown, which can be viewed here , is set to end in a little under 16 hours at the time of writing (11:15 PST). When it’s over, you’ll be able to see “a 20ft live graffiti experience streamed directly from Gamescom to your screen. As the artwork gets painted it comes to life and we’ve hidden loads of exclusive Borderlands 2 stuff inside.” Prepare some coffee, Americans; you’ll have to stay up quite late to catch this event. If it’s as good as promised, though, it should be worth the wait.
