Whether they are winning or not, the Domers shouldn't be getting the special treatment they have. NBC can make contracts with whomever they choose, but they need to earn a set in the big game.

It doesn't matter anyway anymore, the proposed new system for deciding the college football national champion is worse than the old one in my opinion. A committee of "experts" deciding......get real, you know they're just going to play favorites just like in the old days before the BCS. There is a reason why computer polls need to be in the equation.
Also, the top four teams needs to be decided after the playoffs/bowlgames and a final poll of some sort. Then, the final 3 games can be played.

We're No. 1!!! We're No. 1!!!
Notre Dame is No. 1 and in the National Championship game! It's been a long wait...24 years....but it will be worth it. We'll have to play an SEC team, but I think we have the best chance of any team this year and in previous years of beating them. Now, Coach Kelly needs to talk to the Texas A&M coach and ask how they beat Alabama.
