BloodSport Modification Recruiting [PROJECT MANAGER}
Hello,
I’m the PR Manager/2D Artist for the upcoming mod, BloodSport: Sport to Consume. BloodSport is an ambitious mod that is to be created on the technologically superior Unreal 3 engine. We aim to create an engaging, arena-based multiplayer modification. In BloodSport, players play as Cyborgs, pitted against one another in gladiatorial combat. They must fight endlessly to gain in stature and thus stave off death at the hands of their cruel masters, earning further enhancements as they devolve further from humanity in the process. Deck out your Cyborg with all manner of lethal weapons, outlandish upgrades and powerful support systems, and then duke it out against all opposition in the gladiatorial arenas to prove your worth. A persistent identity system will be implemented to allow players to create, maintain and upgrade their cyborgs from game to game. But perform too poorly, you may find that your cyborg is forced to retire... -------------------- A short while ago our project manager unfortunately left the mod. While the team is able to manage their own work, we feel that a manager will enable the team to work far more fluidly. Joining the BloodSport team will give you the chance to work with a mature, talented group of individuals. We hope to develop the mod at a reasonable pace, allowing the team to utilize all their skills and create the highest quality work possible. We feel that a very high level of communication must be maintained in order to keep an organized and enjoyable working environment. We expect all team members, and the project manager to conform to these requirements. While the job does not necessarily involve anything technical, we feel they should have at least a fair working knowledge of mod and game development practices in order to function well within the team. The ideal candidate must be enthusiastic about modding, and gaming in general. Prior experience in modding or game development is sought, experience in project management is exceptional. Actually, it is becoming more and more common for mods to begin before their intended platform is released. This generally gives them a longer life time. We are currently working on design and various artistic assests while we wait for the game to work out actual technical details. In addition we can experiment with Unreal Tournament 2004 considering it is going to be fairly similar.
