We need subcribers...

Sure, I know people have plenty of other things to buy. Beer, pizza, smokes, lingerie for their girlfriends (or boyfriends??)... We're not asking for a billion dollars here... We're asking for just a little from all of you, who hard-working people just like I am.

I know I've said it before, but we're not too far from a new version of this place... Really. It'll happen before UT2K7 hits the shelves. That much I promise. But it won't happen if we can't pay our bills. The downloads we provide cost us money. The server costs us money. The forums cost us money. A site like this just ain't free. Could we scale back our costs? Maybe, but we'd have to scale back the things that we provide. We are currently hosting more than 30G of files for your enjoyment, including 5 gigs of UT99 files, 6 gigs of UT2K3 files and a whopping 16 gigs of UT2K4 files.

"But wait, Kingster," you may say, "don't you already have subscribers? Didn't you just ask for donations a few months ago?"

Yep. We do and we did. We appreciate every dime that everyone has ever given us. For the people that subscribe, we love you. For the people that donated, we love you too. Hell, I love everyone that's a reg here. In the infamous words of Matt Foley though, if we have to close the doors here, "it doesn't amount to JACK SQUAT!"

So, what's it come down to? It's simple. Scrounge UP some change from the couches, pick that penny up you see on the street. Give up 2 cups of Starbucks. That six pack of beer you're looking at in the store? You don't need it. It'll be gone tomorrow. Paying that same amount to UP helps us for a whole month.

Don't count on someone else to do it. If everyone does that, then no one subscribes, and that's a problem.

Anyhow... I've pleaded enough. Please... Subscribe or Donate.

I feel most guilty of all. Not only have i promised money in which i've never given, but as a mapper i've used up at least 100 MBs of space. With college around, money is tight, but im going to be trying to squeeze every penny from my wallet.
