Petrograd is a modification of the Warfare gametype. Unlike a standard Warfare map, wherein the players plug tug-of-war with the nodes, Petrograd begins with all of the nodes already assigned to the Red Team - with the Blue Core completely out of their reach.
The Blue Core is on a countdown timer of 10 minutes, after which it will be completely destroyed. the blue Team has those ten minutes to push through the level, capturing the Red Team's Nodes and destroy their Core. Set in a Russian-inspired Industrial city, each node in Petrograd has it's own uniquely designed combat zone, each with it's own distinct feel and playstyle. This keeps the game feeling fresh and exciting the whole way through, and the teams switch at the end of each round, giving the players the chance to play both sides of the map.
