Got my copy of Impossible Creatures today!
I've been beta testing for the multiplayer on this game and it's sweet. You combine animals together to make freaks o' nature! What could be more fun? Well, then you get to bash the other guy with them. That's pretty fun when its an online opponent.
Unlike longer multiplayer strategy games (AOE, EE, SW:BG etc.) that take around an hour to flesh out, this one takes twenty to fourty. In fear of calling it rushing, lets just say it's a constant battle from the get-go.
My favorite creatures in the multiplayer beta:
Porcupine-Baboons that throw quills and are fast,
Flying Owl-Sharks,
Tiger-Frogs with scary, long poison tongues,
Ram-Sharks that swim and buck heads,
Chimp-sharks that throw rocks!
(okay so the sharks are powerful)
I'd reccomend it to anyone who likes single or multiplayer RTS.
P.S. The graphics are schweeet, of course. So are the sounds and everything else....
