I mapped for quake but have never mapped in UT. UT2003 is so cool though, I just have to try a little mapping. UnrealED seems fairly similar to QERadiant but I still need some help. I have found some tutorials by google searching but nothing really helpful so far. I'm looking for a straight forward tutorial on the basics and some of the more advanced stuff to get me accustomed to the interface.

Any good sites I should check?

FYI, I can make rooms and lights fine, its stuff like shaders, all the properties on brushes/items, terrain (though I guess thats just normal hightmap/alphamap terrain?) etc that I need help with.

Thanks in advance.

Try these (http://www.planetunreal.com/architectonic/first_level.html) tutorials, if you haven't already. They go through most of the basics, including rooms, lights, terrain, water, skyzones, pathing and whatnot.

Also, don't forget to check the official stuff at UDN (http://udn.epicgames.com/pub/Content/WebHome/) as well as the Wiki (http://wiki.beyondunreal.com/)
