Well, i just got the game, played it some and it ran fine.
Then i decided to try the editor, it loaded up just fine and all the viewports were there but when i tried to open up any of the browsers they refused to open!?? :(
Is there a patch to fix this or any other way to fix it?
I would really appreciate some help :)

try under your task bar...right click it and set it to autohide...sometimes it appears outside of your screen, also try deleting your unrealed.ini file and open UED3 again.

Sometimes you have to also choose: VIEW: VIEWPORTS: CONFIGURE to get your default settings back... then you can resize.

For reasons unknown mine hide the viewports on occassion too. just click view and configure viewports. I am not sure why it does this but it does it to me once in a while.

i'll try the patch but it wasn't a problem with the viewports, it was the browsers. They don't come up when i click the button for them!?
thanks for the help, i hope the patch works! :)

It's probably opening off screen. There's a fix for that................................................................................................ ... thinking................................................................................ thinking.......................................................................
I can't remember, but maybe in the ini you'll see x y coordinates for the windows or something? Try wading through the ina forums, I've seen this problem before and it was solved, just can't remember how, sorry. Oh wait! Switch to a high resolution, that was the fix... Switch to a high resolution then drag the window over a bit, then go back to whatever resolution you were at. I could go back and edit this post to get right to that point, but that would be too much effort. ;)

Yeah, Right click on desktop -> Properties -> Settings -> Screen area. Set it to 1024x768, then when you load UnrealEd you should be able to see the browsers. If you move them closer to the top left corner, you can set your desktop size back down to 800x600 or whatever you had it on before and you should no longer have the problem
