The first 5 shootings occured within 10 minutes of my house. My mother was in the area 20 minutes before the 3rd shooting :(

The 7th person shot (Pascal Charlot) was at my fathers 50th Bday anniv 2 years ago :(

The last shooting early this morning was at a gas station that I fell asleep at about a year ago on a late nite trip to richmond, it was also right across from a hotel that I helped do a DJ job at many years ago.

You cant even go to the gas station without worrying about being sniped (no joke). This #$%#$ is sad, the madness must stop!

Ya I've been keeping up with the news on it. Make sure to check your six ultra.

At least he could hit those that are deserving. Ya know there's plenty of them out there.

Damn Quake players. See what happens.
:tsk:

But seriously, take care over there and keep your eyes open.

I have friends in Blackstone, VA. I hope this, these guys, get caught soon.

The police won't catch him the way they're going. First, the white van siting is probably an error and yet they keep looking for a white van, big mistake.

The sniper probably lives close to the first shootings in Maryland, between the first group and the school shooting. Later he saw NEWS reports of geographic location and he ventured far outside that zone. As far as cutting off I-95 (the route back towards the first geographic zone), I had that same idea several days ago, so the sniper probably had it too.

How to catch him. Station groups at patrol points in a grid (military might be needed) and at the first sign of a shooting shut down ALL routes in a perimeter based on based on time from the attack and a distance legal speed limits on the fastest roads leaving the area (60 MPH in 30 mins = 30 -> shut down a 50 - 60 mile perimeter). Activate all patrols in the grid and start shuting down all roads (ALL). Check ALL cars and trucks, not just white vans. Move more police into the area as time goes on, maintain the perimeter and then build a dragnet moving in towards the center from the outer perimeter. After the I-95 shut down, the sniper will take smaller back roads and then probably lie low for a couple hours (go to eat lunch in a public place within 10 - 20 miles of attack, or go see a movie, or go shopping at a local mall). The best chance to catch him is at night when there is less traffic on the road rather than rush hour. It's like looking for a needle in a haystack. You must search everything.

Agree with Shirl, good plan send those clueless baffoons your idea. Now they are simply playing minds games with this lunatic saying that calling him a sniper is giving him too much credit. They called him a coward whos not skilled enough to be a sniper, "snipers can shoot from a much further distance." "Snipers can leave the scene without any witnesses knowing they were there" etc etc etc etc... Its like tempting him to do 'better', okay i understand they may want to make him snap, slip up or whatever but at what costs. Also they believe it is more than 1 'sniper.' Well hopefully if we are all lucky he will be caught before anymore deaths. Its a damn shame.

p.s. Phalanx, guns are illegal is they are not registered.

They're bringing in the military. It's about time. Of course, the press should have kept it quiet. I hope they close off the choke points and do a sweep. Better to send out 1000 troops than to let this F**K kill another innocent person.

Well, now that the military is involved, maybe we can catch the sniper. What? In steps the ACLU and is trying to prevent the military from helping.

These idiots are just too much! The ACLU - protecting snipers' rights. Thanks ACLU, great F**KIN job!
