can someone help with this?

what happens is after I subtract a cube then take a cylinder and vertex edit it and place it on the floor next to a wall then add it.

then take another cylinder vertex edit it and place it on top of the other I get a lip that hangs off of it.

pic 1 shows the view staring up at it(the lip)

pic 2 shows textured cylinders and 3 is the wireframe of them.

if you look at pic 2 only one of the vertices are edited but when you look at pic 3 you can see the two i put in there.

any clue?

All the vertices for any side of a brush have to lie in the same plane or the engine won't render it. The vertices that make up the bottom of your cylinder are all over the place, so the brush won't render. You should use the terrain brush for something like that, one side is all triangles so you can't go wrong.

I hate it after you take the time to create something and then unrealed gets an error then has to close.

anyway i upped more screenies of another one, pics 4 thru 9 just change the link and they will show uo.

also i upped the map too. if you have time http://65.32.2.145/error.ut2

it just would seem so much quicker to create that object with the vertices modified from a cylinder.

but anyway I'm gonna try the terrain brush and see what happens.

thanks for your time!:)
