Oops. No good. Has anybody else tried the 98/ME patch? I can't get any of the browsers to come up. That's a bad thing.
The patch doesn't seem to work.

SiN, is your desktop set to 32 bit color? The editor wants 32 bit color. Try that.

OK, I fgured out the problem with the browsers not coming up. They actually are coming up, but they're off screen. You might have to look at the ini file to check x and y coordinates. Make sure they're not outside your screen size - Ex. my screen is 800 by 600 and the x coordinate for the browser window was set to 802. Doh!
SiN, you had this message.
Error setting display mode: No acceptable display modes found (D3D_OK).
Please delete your UT2003.ini file.
I'm going to take a look at the UT2003.ini. Maybe there's a similar problem.

May be your Vodoo3 card. Dunno if the editor will support that or not

Damn that would succ. The game can run on the card but nmot the edtior. That's pretty funny. Well I'm still finishing few of my maps for UT so I can still used the old editor right now. Can't wait to start mapping for UT2K3.

Nothing funny, the editor runs with Direct3D. I dont think voodoo cards can use D3D render..

The editor has a leak or something. It blows up faster than the old one. Do a save per minute. I'm not joking. Started a map last night and lost the whole thing, had to start over.
On the bright side, i found some cool stuff in there. Still playing around with it.

Oh, and once you open terrain editing, there is no way to close or minimize the window - no buttons.

Eh, that sucks. Seems like the editor is full of bugs.

You don't need any buttons. Just click camera view or any button on the left tool bar.
