Is there a way to turn this text off that flashes on my screen while I'm playing? It's hard for me to really tell who's fragging me with all that text in my field of vision.

That text only comes up once in a blue moon. Maybe if it were possible to put it up at the end of the game and at the beginning that might help. But its never bothered me. I think its sent from the server.

until my roommate was bitching about it... but now I kind of notice it. Just curious is all, it's not like it'd deter me from trying to catch Recon's hours played record.

It sorta bothers me, but not enough to really affect the overall out come of my game. It does pop up at the bad moments though.. I'd agree with Milk's suggestion though.

It only comes up every 10 minutes. So during a 30 minute game you'll see it three times at most.

People asked for a voting system of some kind. The BDBMapVote kept crashing the server, so we put some time into this.

I'll be honest. With about 3000 different players each month, I expected more than 40 or 50 people to be voting each week. So we had to start advertising.

69 votes is the highest, so far, and it came the first week we installed that little advertisement. The week we get 100 votes might just be too much for me!
