Hey! Was looking at NGWorld Stats today, glanced down and noticed that our own DeadLamb is the #2 rated (Mods) player THIS WEEK. Overall stats are impressive too, for those that watch that sort of thing... :rolleyes:

Anyway-- always good to see those who kick your butt way up there!

One of the things that makes Stealth's server sooooo much fun to play on is all the other hardcore players here :)

but I think we have proven over and over here that you need the "whole team" to win the games.. Get too many DM type players or ammo hogs or guys spawn sniping with their team down 4-0 you just lose.....

Oh and on that note, see some GREAT team play the last few weeks on the servers.. People droping relics for each other, better cover and so on... that's the fun part of ctf.. team play

Of course last night the team of Inkswitch, Lamb and Recon was just wrong :) I drop the speed relic for Ink, he rushs in to get the flag in Damtoofar, he shock combo's 2 on the way in.. grabs and runs out and geeeeeee there I am standing to combo off the 2 guy chasing him... hehehe repeat 6 times in a row game over in like sub 10 min

GJ deadlamb. Dont worry about those boa guys. Just 'cause two of their members are up there, doesnt mean theyre good. I've ran into em, they aren't #1 material. You play with some of the best players in ut on stealths and they probably play with not so great players. Which, If I understand correctly, would affect your stats. Personally, thats why I dont like stats, but you've proved to be a more than worthy opponent, so I guess i could swing with that. err.and I'd watch your back. Play and Ink are coming at you..

That just happens on a server with twenty players. There is always gonna be two or three n00bs and a couple snipers who have no interest in defending the flag carrier or chasing the flag.
If you get more of your fair share of these fellas on your team, you are in for a rough game. We both have had our share of that lately. It was good to play with hardcore CTF players for a change.

ngworldstats also takes into account who kills who.. so for every time you can jump and beat down Jade or anyone else with a higher rank your stats get a HUGE boost.... :)

Like wise Jade get very little boost from killing guys ranked lower and only really moves up and down off killing the other high rank guys. Sort of like Boxing I guess....

Xmas time is has so few players I was able to break the top 25 in action quake a few years ago.. but that for some other stat page.. I just looked at them and they are STILL running.. I had no idea! Fun to go check out....

I forgot how ngstats computes your rank, but I seem to remember time being a factor in it...meaning you gotta play a shizload of hours to be ranked high. I remember my best was 5/40 (week/quarter) from early in the semester when I played a LOT and was trying to improve on ng...
