You tryin to cause trouble, son? 'Twas this thread in the first place that got everyone wondering about BamBam...Course I stoked the fire with my poll (hehe...didn't realize it'd get out of hand so quickly). Anywho - me am at hippie Berkeley (and oh hippiness still remains - my Medical Ethics course today had 4 lecturers who discussed, in turn, stress relief, native american healing, chiropractic (letting the light in and strengthening your force - the back feeling better is a side effect) and yoga - if my skepticism offends you; sorry but I'm a skeptical guy). I desperately want to go skydiving again (hence the flying cow suicide missions..hehe). Pah and that's enough for you folks to chew on.

And Duo, you didn't say anything about yourself? All take and no give is bad (According to our lecturer, if your heart is giving you problems you are not giving and receiving [not just love] in equal measure).

lol..whoops!
Anyway, I lost most of the vision in my left eye from a car wreck.(about 6 months ago now) ummm... I recently got a motorcycle! WEEEEE!!!!! The way I figure it is that I can buy a really bad car for $15,000 (kia) or I Can buy a really nice bike! Scared to take it on the highway, though. So I don't take long trips on my bike. hehe. umm.. geez. Its hard. I don't really have a life! uhh. Oh yeah! I went hang gliding again, but this time with one of my friends who has never been before. Lol. He was screaming half the time. hehe.Don't know if i can handel sky diving. I'd probably freak out at the last second and waste all the money I spent to do it! OK.. um thats all I can think of right now!

hard subjects? man you need some APs...oh wait; every school isn't psycho like mine was. And science olympiad rocks! I loved scrambler and bottle rockets; though at least for scrambler it helped having a rich coach who had lotsa lotsa shop tools for us to use..hehe. Damn Troy. sci oly is so much fun...if ya do rockets or scrambler, ask me for tips. heehee (pilot chute for rockets helps SOO much!). *sniff*, now I'm all reminiscent about HS and the good 'ol SciOly days. so now you know a bit about my HS days.

wow duo, I never knew about the accident; that sucks! I hope you've adjusted to lessened vision pretty well...oooh, hang gliding fun? i wanna try that. as for skydiving? 'tis easy. ya just gotta jump! and if you don't think you can do that, do one of the freefalls with an instructor (strapped to him/her) so then you don't have to do the jumping part!

My name is ther freshmaker and I like eggs.

I live in new york city. I'm 29 years old, and I'm overpaid and undermature.

My spare time mostly consists of pointless efforts to prop up my fragile vanity.

You'll see me online as cal ripone jr.

30 yrs young, live in Fullerton, CA, and love playing this demented game.

I started out UT as a hard core offense player right off the bat, and that is still my propensity. My philosophy on winning at UT is that a good offense is your best defense. I go on offense alot... I die alot... but I still get lots of frags. If I'm on your team, you can bet I'm gonna try like hell to win... and if we're winning, I'll try to cap it asap before some homos come on the game and start to turn the tide.

Let's rock!

Uhh.. 24, and contrary to anything BamSpam may say, that is years, and not IQ.
I'm in Portland OR, home of the liquid sunshine that falls from the sky.
I race bicyles when not playing UT or working for a living.

And I'm going for the world UT CTF flag dropping record, without the aid of a suicide key (how'd you do that anyway...?) or feining death. I play 'd' from time to time, but mostly like annoying the other team to death with 'Creeper has your flag!', followed shortly by 'Someone besides Bambam returned the flag!'
j/k Bam. :) I give you your fair share of easy flag kills too.

hehe...suicide...
there are a few ways. The important thing is that you can do it at the console by typing suicide. you can also fire from the console, etc... Anyways, open up User.ini (in the UT\system directory) and scroll down until you find a key you want to bind suicide to. Then, to the right of the equals sign next to the key type "Suicide" and save your file. Now, whenever you're in the game and you hit that key you'll drop dead. Hehe...Suicide Cow Missions!

29... been into online games from way back with plain old Quake .. Loaded that into my p75 (look out!) and logged into a servers with my 14.4 and 3 min later after I went "WOW there are other people in here too!" I rushed out and grabbed a 33.6 modem and went on to play q1 for years at the oh so l33t screen res that was 300x200 software mode.. yeah!!

My hobbies are all the normal guy stuff and data pigging of the net once I got highspeed access.... Also really into any and all cpu art programs BUT I totaly suck and lack even one ounce of talent for creating stuff but I still enjoy messing with them. Mostly make vidcaps or scans of celebrities as a hobby. I call it digital stalking, legal and harmless..

I'll never tell you how old I am, but.......

Freakish: I was a TA for that medical ethics course as a undergrad @ Cal, oh so many years ago. Still run by a bunch of bleeding heart crusaders by the sounds of it.

As for my early days, I started online gaming with Xtrek. Some of you remember the days before updated packets. That was way back when the "WEB" was a group of Sun workstations in the basement of the Math building at Berkeley.

Yes I am old and No I am not going to answer when asked..

UT is my first online game. I was watching someone playing and thought, WOW, I want to do that! What I didn't know, he is a top player and just made it look easy..hehe. I love the personalities here in Stealth, some of you are really whacked out...ahem, others are so killer/professional in their speak during the game, I believe we could be under suspicion for bodily harm to another for being so kill happy. I have a dog "Doc" and a cat "Hobbs" and of course my Hubby of many years :) My kids are all adults now. My interest is in most everything, I love knowing about new inventions, peoples ideas and whats going on around me, a kind of Jill of all trades, and older Motorcycles top the list as we are both into them. Thats my world :)

I didn't respond the last time this thread was posted, but I will this time....

I'm 32. Live in sunny Oceanside, CA with my 7 year old son. I'm a network engineer for an interactive game company. I spend a lot of time in the UT community (duh!), trying to make the game better, trying to make the website better.

I watch entirely too much baseball (Go Padres! only 9 games out of a wild card spot!), football and hockey.

That's it. My life in 5 sentences.

How many times I gotta post dis stufffff????

Anyway... 31... No... 32 now... 1 house, 1 wife, 1 dog, 2 kids (9 yrs and 9 months), 2 cars, 5 computers....

I am a Senior Consultant for Computer Associates (http://www.ca.com) and have been for just over a year. For those of you that aren't familiar with the company, we make ArcServeIT, InoculateIT, and Unicenter (along with about 1200 other products).

As far as stuff I like to do... I like to hang out with the family, screw around with my expanding home network, ride my mountain bike, run, and drink good beers (hence the running and biking). Been UTing since it came out (bought it first day, but screwed around with ALL the demos) and even though I suck at it, I enjoy it. Hmmm... I must be somewhat masochistic... LOL

That's about it in a nutshell... When Mikey and Stealth decide to turn on the img tags, I'll post up a pic of the fam, as I hate to upload attachments.

Maybe if you didn't "screw around with my expanding home network" it wouldn't have taken 8 years 3 months to have your second child. hehe. Your wife must be a saint. Just being mean, your life sounds great..congrats.

Life is good... But just so you understand, the kids are from two different wives... The first wife is the only bitch that is still in my life (for another 10 years). My wife now (got married in June 2000) is a wonderful woman... Here are a couple of pics of us and the kids...
