It's the best! Run into base, grab the flag and start shooting everthing ( especially yourself!!!) with the rocket launcher!! Most everyone actually keeps their distance. I think people are so greedy for the pionts that they don't want to risk losing them if they die! lol. Of course with over 600+ suicides and over 900+ deaths with the flag it might not be the best strategy, but it's funny as hell!

Maybe they're just scared to death of you? I know I cringe when I see your name on the screen and I'm not on your team....

I'm with Arsenic here, but I personally suspect the reason people are afraid of you JaC is because here, in Forn Countrees, we TAKE BATHs and aren't used to the STENCH.

(there's a few people that frequent this forum that know I've not had a haircut since December so It's All Good :P :twisted: )

Yeah I agree. I'll get like 20 points a game and look like suckage, but in fact the one's who concentrate on getting more frags are the ones that suck. I used to suck horribly but im getting alot better now, as some people have experienced :twisted: . Unless I see no one's defending the base, I just try to head for the flag.

Even with 20 health or whatever, just go bananas like you said. I'll usually get 1 or 2 caps in a game. Sometimes I try to get about 3 or 4 even, and my score will still look like crap just cause i didnt frag alot. I capped 4 flags in DuelingKeeps last night and only had a 24 score. So score means nothing unless someone's mistaking this for a DM server.

I still get pissed when I come back to a home base full of enemy people ready to toss a few rockets my way and there's no Defense, lol. I sound like Geo but it's the truth. "No help" .......I felt dirty typing that.

How exactly does that thing work anyway? I never figured it out, too many full-auto flak cannons firing to test safely. :wink:

I'm still working on improving my flag capture technique and I am discovering that the RL is the best weapon for the job.
In 433LE you can que up six rockets and blast the entire area around the flag, set off ammo, and cause general chaos which can free up the area to grab the flag. It's also just about the best weapon for leaving the enemy base with their flag. Sometimes you can take out 3-4 of your pursuers while running backwards.

Running back wards = good
Maps that have lots of little snags and trips = bad
(unfortuantely most see is as a good thing 'cause it slows the flow. Bah! :evil: )

I've heard you can make a keybind something like:

key=behindview 1 | onrelease behindview 0

Not sure exactly how to do it, but it should help while running backwards. Do note that you can't aim for crap while in behindview, so you might be better off just turning around real quick.

Already bound to my center Num Pad key, along with FOV=111. Then bound to the asterisk is 'BehindView=1 | FOV=120' -- I use that one for actual running around. The other is for quick peeps around boxes :twisted:
