Let's talk tally for a bit.....

In the course of a year and a few months, good and bad, I've downloaded a total of 1,200 maps to date and they're on my hard drive. My maps of course, and all the originals, make tons more for me! What about you guys?

I've got ~1350..but I've deleted a bunch and don't download everything that gets uploaded here anymore (too hard to keep up!).

Honestly I'd rather not go and count them. I have so many on my pc that UT loads seriously slow. But since I play online on my gf's pc it's not a problem. Since I've started playing, 2+ years ago I guess, I've collected all the maps I come across and when I get about a cd's worth I'll burn them for safe keeping and to free up space on the 'ol drives. Total number of maps? "Way too many" is most likely the answer you'd get from a lot of us. But let us not stop making new ones right? :D I bet most of us have all CTF and DM maps. Assault maps are hard to come by and DOM wasn't a whole lot easier.

When UT 2003 is finally out I think I'll have to be much more selective in what maps I keep as they'll most likely be bigger and let's face it a lot of them will suck at first.

Only what is on the server and pushed over to my cpu.. Only play here and on line so not any reason for me to even look at other maps to be honest..

Plus no mater how new the map is it only take a few min to learn it and heck I'm *cough* not really looking for any wep but the shock so no need to play them off line to learn them

When you're on dial-u.p., it's essential to have as many maps dl'ed as possible. :blah:

I have about 100... I need that disk space (in total 7.5Gb, UT takes up 3Gb of that :D) for other things.

I had about 2 gig of maps, but I had to rebuild my computer about two weeks ago so I bounced everything on to CDs. Now I have the basic maps and stuff from the bonus packs and whatever new stuff I load from here. And a lot of beta maps I've been looking at.

ive downloaded almost every map uploaded on UP since i joined. I just check out the beta maps and new maps every day, and d/l anything new. i always delete em tho, so i really dont have very many maps.
