View Full Version : Tick, Tick, Tick - error on demo recs

Recently applied the '32 bots cheat' in UT Deathmatch. Everything runs fine until I try to make a demorec of a match, then I get an error message about tick rate. - What kind of adjustment do I need to make? I assume it's due to having the extra bots as I didn't get the error before. Any helpful input appreciated.

I don't know how the 32-player thing works though. If it also affects the tickrate, then you may or may not be able to independently adjust the tickrate. It's generally set in the unrealtournament.ini file. Although, why the error would show up on a demo is beyond me. I've been able to play back demos from servers with a wide range of tickrates, so I'd have to guess it's something to do with the 32-player mod. If you could give us more info on that, we (and by 'we', I mean 'someone else') might be of more help.
