Looking to buy Canon 450D

So I'm looking to UPgrade from my good old 300d and have set my heart on the 450d.

Any of you photography fans know of any great deals out there? I'm fine with buying from US stockists if the shipping charge to the UK is decent enough for the camera deal.

I have been searching and feel like banging my head against the wall I've looked at so many lol I just can't fix my attention long enough.

Any help would be appreciated. :rockon:

:eek: I am shocked. Don't you know that Nikon and Canon shooters fight tooth and nail all the time to put down the other brand? It's your responsibility, no, your sacred duty as a Nikon shooter to insult the Canon brand whenever you can! ;)

I use Nikon - but I love Canon too (mother has one, it's sweet)

I find they're pretty much the same quality, same features and same price - I just prefer the "feel" of the Nikon, better weight distribution for me. When I was buying mine, that was literally the only thing to choose between them.

I got my 450D with the 18-55mm kit lens at almost £150 cheaper than retail, from the Canon Outlet on ebay... It's sold as refurb but there's nothing at all wrong as far as I can tell, it also comes with a canon 12 month warrenty.

I've just started really gettting in to photography and will probs be looking at doing a course or 2 in the near future!
