Just converted my map to the PS3 platform. I finally got all of the PS3 conversion and UFE problems fixed, but am unable to test because I do not own a PS3. I would appreciate any feedback as to the downloading, installing, and playing of this map. Thank you.

I understand that because of Sony copyright infringements that I may not use any Custom Sounds or Music embedded into my map. Therefore I have removed the 2 custom "City" sounds and the custom music track from the map. They have been replaced with UT3 "City" sounds and the UT3 music track "Skyward."

The PC version of DM-NeoSmithCourtYard v1.2 (http://www.unrealplayground.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=6871) still contains the original sounds and music.

Thanks for replying. :claps: I have everything worked out now I think but would very much appreciate your trying it out. Let me know if the UT3 music track is the same.

The first problem was that I could not get UnrealFrontend to launch. "Failure to initialize application...". No one could help me. By chance I upgraded my ATI drivers and the first thing I tried was UFE. It worked. Go figure.

The second was an error about the music track. UFE said it would leave it out of the Cook. And, a warning about 4 specific sound files. These were the ones that I had created and imported into the Map. I replaced the custom sound files with UT3 ones and the custom music track was deleted and was re-referenced to the UT3 music track "Skyward". After that I got zero errors.

After reading some posts at Epic I have come to understand that Sony does not want map makers inserting their own sounds and music. (Possible copyright infringement with unknown artists). There may be a hack for this. I don't know. Probably not because the only way to convert a .ut3 to a .JAM is with UFE. And UFE won't Cook custom music and sounds into a map.

Think about it. You could put some pretty nasty stuff on Sony's wholesome, family oriented PS3 through a UT3/PS3 map's Music track. (I have curse words on my map's graffiti.) Whatever.

Thanks a lot...
