got this from another forum ...... PicLens is a plug-in that allows you to interact with pictures on the internet as part of a "3D Wall." Besides being cool as hell and just plain fun . . . it also allows you to look at hundreds of pictures on sites like google images, yahoo, facebook, flickr, etc in just a matter of seconds. The program is a available for most browsers . . . including Internet Explorer and Firefox . . . so check it out . . .

Seen that tip before. Thankfully for Firefox 3 one of the major focuses has been memory leaks, so you shouldn't have to deal with tweaking memory usage when you get it.

I've been pleased by FF3's performance. I'm using it at work and at home.
PicLens is a neat idea, but I haven't found much of a need for it...Flickr and Smugmug have good slideshows and I don't want to wait to load a fancy interface for google image results. In the realm of flashy visualizations, searchme's beta search engine offering could be cool, though, if they bring in shortcut keys like Google Reader and get a good index going.

Me too - but it didn't support Piclens straight away ... now it does, though ... woohoo!
