Long story short I'm in the market for new speakers for my computer. I really want to be able to place them face down on my hardwood floors and have some kick ass bass. I'm having a problem with my neighbours below and have gone through *ALL* avenues to resolve it. Nothing. I'm tired of getting mad. I'm getting even.

My number one choice is http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=12847&vpn=970115%2D0403&manufacture=Logitech. I've heard that these are kick ass speakers.

My second choice is http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=13448&vpn=970102-1403&manufacture=Logitech.

Does anyone have either of these? I'm willing to bite the bullet and spend the 300 bucks on speakers if they're incredible.

Or? Any suggestions?

LOL - You'll not need to turn them face down, just make sure your sub is on the floor. :)

I have no expreience of mid to high end speakers but my bottom line tins sound spot on, really good sound with awesome bass. I forget the name but I have listed them somewhere in my 'blues rig build' thread. I'm being lazy atm and cant be bothered to look. lol :D

Good luck with you neighbours. We've had the local authority place recording equip this month, with a hope to take our neighbour to court. It's been a nightmare!! Then, she decided to move out 2 days ago!! wo0t

I never got any of the "high-end" Logitech speakers but I will say that the Logitech Z-640 (budget 5.1 speakers) that I got 4 or so years ago are TERRIFIC for the $65 I spent on them. I have no doubt that the high-end ones are worth the price.

I loooooove my Klipsch. My exact model is discontinued, but a very similar setup still exists.

Spendy, sure.. but loud as @#$@#% and super clean sound. Oh, and it's a dual-8inch 150watt powered sub. It'll rattle windows.
