I've started using mind reader to help me with bots. Does anybody use this?
Also, does anybody use Pathlogic? I haven't loaded this yet. I'm waiting for suggestions.
I'm having some problems with bots falling into lift holes. Any ideas? Should I use jumpspots or what?

Check out LiftExit/Center Tags and Tag of the Mover.
Must be the same!
Don't use jumpspots instead of liftcenters (on the lift).
If it still doesn't work than post a picture from that lift (with visible Lift center and exits.

The tags are fine and they were working. All of the sudden the bots are jumping off before the lift reaches the top. And then try again and jump into the hole under the lift.

I have simmilar problem with one lift.
The bots jump on it and when the lift reaches half of its way the bots just jump down.
I tagged the Lift exits and center right but i forgot to give the same name (tag) to the lift mover.
The problem was solved when i named the tag of lift exact as the lift exits and center.
Also, make sure the liftcenter is not too much away from the border of the lift otherwise the bot cannot reach the liftcenter before the lift moves and so the bot jumps to try to reach the liftcenter: this often happens when lifts are too much large and fast as well...

I always put a delay time on my elevators, this allows bots to use them without any problems and also allows players to drop down onto the lift and move off it without it taking them back up to the top if they don't want to go back up.

I had the same problem in CTF-Winterhawk and couldn't solve it. I noticed that it started when I made the mover tag the same as the botpaths. Then I changed it back and it was worse. Hmmm. Wish I knew.

OK, it seems like it's working now. The lift tags were all good.
One problem was the height of the liftcenter over the mover. For some reason if the liftcenter is to high the bots jump off early. Don't know why. I also took Gui's advise and slowed down the lifts to the default 1.0 second up, 4.0 second hold. The bots did fine with this default timing. I had previously sped up the lifts on advise from the cliffy B article. Too fast I guess. I also moved the liftcenter and lift exits closer. This seems to help too. Thanks Gui.
I haven't tried the delay yet Bot_40. Just got back from mapping. Done for the night, eyes are bugging. I'll foolaround with those settings.
Other things I've noticed. Don't place xloc start and dest too close or they'll get jammed. Also, if you want bots to jump down from a ledge to a lower ledge put the pathnode right up to the edge and get line of sight between the two nodes, hence a path. I figured this out myself, so give me a break.
And yes, bots are grabbing the flag and scoring. When you see the map you'll know why I feel this way. Wow! I can actually play test this map as a regular game. This is a big achievement for me.
I've gone back to the original set of maps for UT and have been checking their pathing. Not because the newer maps aren't good, but because I know all these maps like the back of my hand. Some nice tricks in Coret like the kickers.
I have a bizarre secret passage built into my map and I've been trying to bot path it with no luck. I'll have the beta out in a few days. You can take a look. Thanks.
Does anybody use mindreader or pathlogic?
I used mindreader, I now prefer the console command "verbose"... When I need it :D

OMG, WHY DID SOMEONE NOT MENTION THIS TO ME!!!! my bots on CTF-Frostburn suffered from this because of my fast lifts. However, they only seemed to do it when you commanded them to follow you up the ramp. So, it wasn't a real big issue

I just a moment ago DL'd Mindreader and get unrecognized command when I try to type MRtoggle ingame in the console. I have the int and u files in my \system folder. Is there a trick somewhere that I am missing? There are unfortunately no instructions for installation in the readme or at the official website. I also have the same prob with bots jumping off early, or falling in lift holes trying to use an up to go down or vice versa. They also stand directly beneath the lift when it is opened. I have tried to match liftcenter to lift whith attachtag, but that doesn't seem to make any noticeable diff one way or other. They seem to use lifts properly about half the time.
