here is a map i have been working on for roughly a week.
Uploaded in geometry form so will be bright (as i said in descrition), basic architecture is complete, i have put in a few weapons and pickups and there is also a bot path network.
Bots will not use all routes because the map is not fully bot pathed yet but they should still give you a good game.
Currently, each team only has 4 spawn points so play with no more than 7 bots. I'd appreciate if anyone could look at the level and tell me if there is anything bad or if i need to add anything! :)

One quick run without bots...
I like the basic idea. The map is screaming out for jumpboots!
I think the center area is the best work. The shaping of the upper walkway adds nice interest and you trimmed it nicely. I think the intermediate rooms outside each flag bas and the flag bases themselves should be redone. They're far too boxy. You have some nice shapes happening in the center and those gothic arches but you otherwise don't bring the design into the far end of each base.
The two wakways, one above the other... maybe offset them so you can move between them more easily (it would help the FC).The side staircases are kinda pointless. It makes a short trip very long that you can just avoid by using the x-loc. And that big meter nearby doesn't work. it's too obvious that it's about 20 times normal size! :p Don't fall prey to sticking something in just to fill space. The "watch your step" seems out of place too.
Texturing-- is what i see here just temporary? It really needs rethinking. The big red and blue stripes are garish at the moment.
it will be intense with lots of players but the basic idea is OK.

You're right about the all the rooms that lead off the central area, initially the flagbases were just going to be in the first room you enter but then i decided to make it bigger so i just duplicated the rooms. I think i will take them out and do it again.
The meters were just something i threw in for fun :p, they will be eliminated. Could you suggest anything to replace the stairs? Maybe some lifts or kickers?
I will re-do texturing also but those textures don't look too bad with lighting :p (who am i kidding, they do look bad) :D
Anyway, i appreciate you looking at it and i'm glad you liked the bridge bits, i concentrated most on them as i think you have noticed.
The next version should be alot better and will be uploaded with full lighting!

Instead of stairs--- ummmm maybe lifts or kickers that take you to alternate upper routes between the bases? :scratch:

i think lifts would be better because if you jump back down on a kicker then you get 'kicked' back up! :D
