Another "What if" thing
anyway things i would of done would be
--remove duel (i had a 8 player instant action duel without changing any settings)
--added maybe a normal ctf map (so you got a taste of 4 different game types (ctf/vctf/dm/tdm)
--put up more then 2 bloody tdm servers so you can always play heatray
--added in a few mutators (arena) because running around with a load of other people and only having hammers or sniper rifles is just fun :)
what would you of done?

Fix the friend invite system since what is the point of having it when it shows everyone offline. :hammer:
Maybe add an extra character or two (1 Necris, 1 Krall).

I'd have added a CTF map and a proper 1on1 map (ShangriLa is not a very good 1on1...), since these are the most interesting gametypes for pros.

I would have also probably gone with a VCTF map that supported 24 players, as the demo servers are usually maxed out.

I'm surprised no one has said "I would have added a warfare map."
I would have though, it would be the best way to advertise their new(er) gametype to the public, atleast for now. We'll just have to wait and see what the next demo brings.

Maybe a complete first level of single-player with the ability to have online co-op on the next demo. That is assuming SP will be based on warfare maps unless Epic can make actually create levels solely catering to SP with ACTUAL objectives. Then again, I wouldn't hold my breath for that.

i have spied a lot of info about ut3 from files in the demo
and the campain from what i can see will be like warfare judging from stuff i have dug up
also enjoy interesting stuff (http://forums.epicgames.com/showthread.php?t=582322)
and yea i would of added a map that wasn't 8 people max when you would have 30 people in the map at once......
sigh all the vctf map does now is defense and no pure offense
also um.....what else...i wouldn't mind not having warfare since it would be more interesting and they wouldnt have to rush to make it play worthy for the demo
anyway i hate the fact that there is no way up from the bottom to the spma area

I would have included a player model that looked a bit more finished. No matter what color these player models are in they look like unfinished place holders. $0.02

I agree; putting Warfare in would be premature. Still plenty of time for that in a non-beta demo. I would've put in a regular CTF map, though, or a bigger DM map. The way it is, these maps just wind up feeling cluttered.
Also: fix the ping!

man mighty i played that game on your avitar, anyway this current demo is good news, remember ut2k4's demo? they made a new verson with new maps hehe :)
anyway my problem with the maps so far(since i feel like its on topic)
where the spma is, i would of put some way up on that island that is like in the middle of no where, like a shielded ladder so you gotta wait till he gets out of it to kill em or shoot em when your right over the ladder... or like a jump pad or a...what you call em? that um....lift.....
maybe a life where you can HAVE A VEHICLE USE A LIFT! but yea there is a walk way leading to no where on that side and a useless island...what up with that?
heatray....hmm i can't think of anything wrong with it except its really hard to jump from the crater with the jump pad to the armor to the health vials....i don't make it most of the time...
and on the other one, well fixing the eye hight will fix the damage spot....
i think adding a normal ctf and a better vctf to show off a different way of making it....i mean different layout and such to show off the vehicles a lot better(maybe with the layout of axon vs necris vehicles?
