Just got back from a camping trip to the Flinders Ranges.
Took this photo of an adventurous Emu trying to swipe our Bananas from the esky.

we call them "coozies" over here, your name makes a little more sense. they look a little different though. (see attached)

They're not sock - spend enough time barefoot in the outback and your skin will look like that ;)

LOL, he's still getting the hang of "shoes off before you get in the tent".
Coozies eh? Most of ours look like that, but i just brought a new AFL Footy shaped one which you can see in the pic.:)
Incidently, one of my workmates was at the same camping spot the day before and seen a 5 foot Goanna just up the creek. Would have loved to see that, they are awesome creatures.
