I've heard so many bad things about that game it's ridiculous to consider it a part of the series! I know it's Epic's first game on the PC2, but that's no excuse for the real-time rendered cutscenes to look as bad as those from UT7, is it?

Still, the whole story utterly ruins it. I mean, the happy-go-lucky protagonist (for those of us who go through single player) is just such a sickeningly saccharine guy. Sure, UT9 had a non-dejected lead, but at least he still could kick Xan's butt! This new guy is just like a pushover; "oh, I'm you're metrosexual dream boyfriend!"

Oh, and don't get me started with his girlfriend. Seriously, having an AI teammate all of the time can be a pain. At least you don't have to bother keeping her alive. That's a bit ironic as she seems to lead everyone more than the main character. :p At least she's constantly summoning in air raids and such, otherwise her picking up every health pack when she's down one health would be absolutely intolerable.

You know what! Ditch the loser lead and replace him with her! That would make the just announced UTx-2 so much better! I just hope they don't ruin it with having to buy all sorts of gear, or worse, outfits for each situation. That would just wreck online play. Yeah, I think I'll just wait to see it x-2 is any good. ;)
