Pixel Pusher of purepressure.com told me about this a few days ago, they posted this on their website, just thought some of you might be interested:
The PurePressure team is excited to bring you the first monthly GINA Invitational this Saturday, February 24th! The action gets started at 2 PM Eastern! Events will be UTV'd and Shoutcasted as well, so be sure to check this thread for all updates. There's $1000 up for grabs, so you won't want to miss this event!

What: TAM 4v4, TDM 4v4, and 1v1 UT2004 Tournaments
When: Saturday, February 24th, TAM starting at 2 PM Eastern, TDM starting at 3 PM Eastern, 1v1 starting at 6 PM Eastern
Time: TAM and TDM should run about 3-4 hours each, and 1v1 between 2-3
Format: Modified PurePressure 1 map-match Round Robin to Single Elim Format
Prizes: $1000 total - $400 for TAM, $400 for TDM, $200 for 1v1; prizes for both 1st and 2nd
Type: Team and Draft - Bring your own team or sign up solo and be drafted to a team!
Voice server: Ventrilo - vent.purepressure.com port:3807
Who: EVERYONE
Requirements:

1.) You must have played one pickup game on the site prior to playing in the tournament to sync your GUID with your purepressure account. ***This means that your first pickup played on our site you must the same player name IN GAME as you have for you purepressure account name.***
2.) You must be in Ventrilo 30 minutes prior to the tournament you are playing in for final instructions
Reminder: If you are signing up as a draftee, the more pickups you play through GINA in the gametype you want to compete in the better GINA will be able to place you when you're drafted.

1.) You can only play in ONE of the above tournaments listed. Either 4v4 TAM, 4v4 TDM, or 1v1. You must pick one as you cannot play in any two or all 3.
2.) There is room for 32 TAM teams, 16 TDM teams, and 16 1v1 players.
3.) ***To register as for the draft pool or 1v1: Click on "tourneys" on your GINA panel at 1 PM Eastern and select the tournament you wish to participate in.*** THIS WOULD BE A GOOD TIME TO PLAY YOUR PICKUP IF YOU HAVEN'T YET. ;)
If you register for the 1v1 and are not in Ventrilo at 5:30 PM Eastern, you will be replaced.
To register as a team, or to be drafted with a friend (if you do not have enough for a team but want to play together), you must have your teammate's on your buddy list. To add buddies, click on the "Dashboard" above, and click on the buddies tab. Then invite the account name of your teammate. More details as to how you will register for the event itself with your team will be given later this week when the site is updated with that feature.

There will be two 16 team TAM tournaments running at the same time with one in Chicago and one in Dallas.
The 16 team tournament format is 4 groups of 4 teams, round robin. You play each team in your group once.
Top Two teams advance to an 8 team Single Elimination bracket.
The top two teams from Dallas and top two from Chicago will play a 4 team Single Elimination bracket in Chicago to determine the winners of the TAM tournament.
