Thanks to Kingster, this new subforum for Old Skool Monsta Toolz can be used for all questions, WIP, problems, solutions, and reference for the OSMT toolset and for the OSM Adventure gametype.

This was a private subforum used during beta testing of v1.0 and includes more than a few OSM Adventure beta map threads started during development of the OSM Adventure Map Pack.

Some of the most useful elements of this subforum are the Sticky threads you see. I used these as a testing ground for the reference material I eventually wrote on UnrealWiki and in the included manual for OSMT. There's also a nifty essay by Blitz, a continuation of his "Balance" study, but focused on Singleplayer gameplay.

If you have Beta Maps, Map Announcements or general Unreal Engine topics, the normal subforums for UT2k3/UT2k4 should be used, but if you have OSMT or OSM Adventure-specific issues to discuss, this is the place to post 'em.

WOOT! Thanks again, Kingster! You rock!

At first glance, this may look like an abundance of redundance. It's not really. There is a place for everything and so I appreciate everything going to it's place. Here's how I set the sticky threads up so far:

OSMT Beta Testing : Reserved for discussion between official beta testers for any new OSMT versions.

OSMT Map Ideas : Reserved for any and all general Map ideas using OSMT, either OSM Adventure or normal gametypes like DM, CTF, ONS, etc.

Old Skool Monsta Toolz Development : Reserved for "official" posts and announcements (by me) reguarding the latest developments on OSMT, including a running development log.

Monster AI Problems & Solutions : Reserved as a place to post an AI problem not covered in other reference and the subsequent solution(s).

OSMT Discussion & Ideas : Reserved for new feature requests and ideas to any aspect of OSMT.

OSM Level Design : Reserved as a counterpart to "UT2k3/UT2k4 Level Design", but specifically for OSM Adventure maps. This includes a FAQ on OSM Adventure mapping, much like the one posted on UnrealWiki (http://wiki.beyondunreal.com/wiki/SuperApe/Mapping_For_OSM_Adventure).

Monster Manual Notes : Reserved as a reference for each ScriptedMonster class that includes stats, behaviors and features or each creature.

Tactical Imbalance in Single Player Gameplay (An Essay) : A continuation of Blitz's Essay on Balance for Multiplayer gameplay, this time for SinglePlayer adventures.

Hope that helps. :D
Please make sure you look for info in the right place and Please make sure you post info in the right place.
And feel free to start your own threads, of course.
Thank you.
