I didn't have the greatest opening week either. I still have one to play, but I doubt LT will outscore Cooley and Jordan by more than 41 points.

Me too. I am ahead ...momentarily. I like to lose it all on Monday night. It makes it sooo exciting...uh..for my opponents. lol



I had a slight lead and opponent still had RB to play. Oh well....maybe next week. Jake the Snake bit me this week! 3 points. Just awful! :)


EDIT: I picked up right where i left off last year. lol And my wide reciever had zero. One pass thrown to him and he dropped it. Ugggg. There's always next week. :) But how many can say they thought Joe Nedney would have a great day of kicking. 9 points and missed a chip shot field goal. I'm so schmart. ;)

EDIT # 2: I got a fantasy email that had this in it. I found it very strange behavior for a coach. See what you think. It said....

"Coach Mike McCarthy on Monday wielded some constructive criticism of kicker Dave Rayner, who missed badly to the left on a 53-yard field-goal attempt to end the first half. "It doesn't change my outlook on him," McCarthy said. "He's young and talented, but we're in the business of winning football games. Production is the primary focus, and he needs to produce. The tryouts are over. He's our kicker; we believe in him. But, he needs to make that kick."


(me again) Okay..i can dig that the coach is upset. But a 53 yard kick is a 50-50 proposition...i don't care who is kicking it. To expect your kicker to make 53 yard kicks like extra points is imo ridiculous. Did i not read this correct or what. I feel i have missed the point. Someone enlighten me please.

Haha...yup...and there's lots of weeks left. You might get another one or two this year. I have been scoring great but playing someone who scores more seems like every week. lol. I stand corrected. This week on both of my leagues i had to face the unstoppable Ladanian. However..i present to you the fact that you can win against the guy who owns Ladanian. Not that i have won against the sak monkeys as they still have players left...but in the other league i proved you can beat Ladanian. Now i am waiting for that week when i get to match up against Peyton.

@Superape.......I was looking over the point totals and once again YOU sir have more points scored against you than anyone else. Which equates to having the toughest schedule ..duh. But even though you barely edged me out last year in this category...I vow to have the most points scored against me this year. Yes yes...i have a goal now that my season is over. Prepare to lose all division leaders......I am coming for you all...(insert evil laughter here)

Here is the stats on who has the toughest schedule. This week..(thanks to Blitz) I now have crept up on you as the guy who has the most points scored against me. :) You won't win twice in two years apeman...someone has to share in the glory of being beaten by the best with their highest possible score.....I'm still reeling about that 105-103 loss i had a few weeks ago. I know it will be tough since everyone brings their A game against you but i am determined.

Oh by the way...we play each other next week in a totally meaningless game...lol

However, today 49ers host the Packers. A good old rivalry between two teams currently "struggling". I know a couple people who'll be watching that game. :D

Looks like my long journey is coming to a close.

Ending my season with 6 wins would be so nice. Wish i had got my team together a little sooner. Looks like a fight to the end tonight for me and the Golden Recievers.

Who would of thought with a 2-6 start i would even have a chance on the last week. HAha.

Looks like the teams with Ladanian..and peyton go to the playoffs and win their divisions,,,,,what a shock. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. You just have to have one of those guys to seal the deal.

Yes, but I'd like to wait until the last week of preseason before drafting the league. That way we reduce the chance that someone will get stuck with a player that's suspended/injured/demoted/etc. We can start drumming up interest a couple weeks ahead of time, though.

Not only Smith but that tight end ...Vernion Davis????..was hurt last year....he looks impressive. I have a feeling Smith will do quite well this year. He just needs to prove consistancy. I think he will this year. Texans still have no off. line. Another long season for them (and me)...i hope not. Maybe Schaub can turn it around?

Sounds like a plan Blitz. Good running backs are scarce. Getting two good ones might be a challenge this year. Teams are starting to use two and three backs and one guy for touchdown short yardage situations. Sort of screws up the fantasy points. Oh well. That's part of the fun.
