This mod is lightly themed towards the different races UT has brought to us.

Human
No real need for explanation, but for all the Skaarj amongst us.
Humans are the race who created the Unreal Tournament. Under the leadership of the Great Corporations, humanity represents industrialised society at its peak.
Humans have a dark and vengeful side, and it is not unknown of their species to hunt down individuals because of perceived wrongs committed in the past. Humans are also covinced of their own superiority (particularly in the wake of the Human-Skaarj War victory) which can lead to overconfidence and major mistakes being made.
They are technologicly advanced and use cunning to have an advantage in combat. They like to work in teams and rely heavily on armour and control of strategic map points in order to dominate.

Defining Weapons-Pulse Gun, Flak Cannon

Necris
This isn't so much a Race, but definitly worth a status of its own.
This league is formed by warriors from the grave. They are the undead roaming the arenas.
To become one of the neither dead nor alive one must undergo the patented Necris process wich is still a secret to the general public.
What is known is that this process isn't flawless, memories might have trouble accepting being reincarnated, emotions seem to be a once a lifetime happening.
Thus the result is a warrior with neither fear, regret, pain nor mercy.
The Necris rely on speed and subtlety to destroy their foes, preferring range, trickery and weakening to frontal attacks. This is embodied by the infamous Phayder Assasins, who are rumored to be invisible until they want to see your fear.
Necris often work alone, yet pairs of snipers are a common sight in the Tournament where they exploit control of ammunition and powerups to maintain an edge.

Defining Weapons-Sniper Rifle, ASMD Shock Rifle

Skaarj
The Skaarj are the ones in control of the Skaarj empire, which contains many different enslaved races.
Skaarj are reptilians, bigger, tougher and stronger than any normal Human being. They disdain any other species and won't hasitate to get into a fight using brute force.
After some incidences on NaPali the Skaarj were at war with the Humans and, even though the Humans won the war and broke their fighting spirit, they're not to be taken lightly.
Skaarj typically are loners in the Tournament, as their hyper aggressive fighting style tends to get the weaker species killed very easily. They often dominate arenas by denying enemies access to health and/or weapons, but they are rarely defending for long enough for this to become a major problem.

Defining Weapons-Rocket Launcher, Ripper

wouldn't it be a good idea to add some of the weapons from the mod to those defining weapons?

That was really an outline for any newcomers (cough! coreper) so I thought it would be easier to define them by stock weapons...

Robots / Warmachines
They aren't to be taken as a real race, however, there are rumors that there are planets rulled by robots and their warmachines without having any human being nearby. Robots originally served the purpose of helping out in mining, running public places and the like.
However, founders of the Liandri reprogrammed them to be rulers of the arena as well. Warmachines are programmed to kill in the most spectular way possible. People drool for blood, and so robots are a common variable in tournaments. They ain't for the victory, although there is a mysterious robot named Xan who is the current Tournament Champion, but they are for the gore.
Weapons: ???

Wasn't Xan a Liandri puppet? (I recall that from reading the description before the final match)

Also, Robots don't have any input when it comes to weapons, so I just catagorized them with Humans. All Robots in UT have some kind of Humanoid look, like Xan who is a heavily Mechanical engineerd human, I don't know about the warmachines though.

yeh, i 'bundled' them with humans, but anyways...should we seperate em out and make weapons like the nailgun belong to the machines?
