F7.. how he do it

I took 3 SS's of F7 getting hit with eSR

I can see the blood flying off, but he didn't die. Could the beam just been coming off of his gun, and he was getting hit with a different kind?

did he have redemption that redeemed him at the exact location he died? That could be possible, since he would still have the action before you shot him with the ESR. NICE SHOT!

He had the flag and didn't drop it so it wasnt redemption.

Hmm, only idea I can think of is: whoever shot at me missed. /shrug Or the redemption relic. Or maybe even the beam was mine and I was getting sniped at (there are a lot of snipers and folks who use that mounted minigun on that big ESR map).

Go Into the UT System folder, Right click, and save as (name it) and save as a jpg. to your documents. Then post it, It will fit.

Maybe he meant too big in terms of bytes? That IS limited... I oocasionally need to resize or reduce quality of a jpg to get uner the cap.

Well I must admit, that does look like I got hit with the ESR and still lived.

However, the ESR doesn't shed blood. There were a lot of people manning the mounted machine guns that game. If you look at the log, you see "F7 eradicated Nightblade with the ESR." Maybe that was my shot at NB? Maybe it was another shot. When I'm running with the flag, even moreso with the ESR, I will look ahead and if there are any of the opposing team near me, try to take them out so they don't meet me with a face full of rockets.

All I can say is if you think I am cheating, bot me and then explain how I'm only in the upper 50's on the player stats? :p

I thought it looked like either 1) F7's shot... he's obviously dodging and the timing looks right. Or 2) it's a miss and, like Freakish said, the mini (or the Inf nest) is hitting him. I don't see the big ring/blast that would indicate a shock hit...

Freakish hit me the other night with ONE primary shot from the Shock rifle when I had 1) the shield, 2) 130 health. He had Speed at the time.

I was dead. That defies what that gun is technically capable of doing. Sometimes what you see and what the computer says happened don't match up... and sometimes the "rules" get ignored or broken purely by chance.

Though Freakish's hack makes sure he's always on the winning side of the equation... :evil:

I dodged towards you thus doubling my speed and since kinetic energy is based on v^2, QUADRUPLING my damage. Yep..insti-damage amp whenever you dodge forward. I swear..

The beam is NOT where the weapon hits... the weapon is a hitscan one.. so it hit the instant you push fire.... the beam is just for "looks"

Same thing for the normal shock rifle.... most of the time everyone will miss long distance so you get used to seeing the beams float pass so you think the part that kills you but nope...

that's why on really, really long shots people go WTF? when they get hit being if I aim at a sniper on other side of the map with the shock and hit him.. I see the blue poof on the person that show I hit him and he never even saw the beam..
