Constant UT Pure problems

Ok, here goes:

Server #1 is running BPHandler 5x. Files page has 5v. I have 5w from last week.??????

Cannot download 5x (Or any other UT pure file when connecting to SDPP#1)
DL gets to 40-50% then freezes, every single time.

This is making me nuts. Is there a database I can get the appropriate file from elsewhere?
I'm spending more time trying to figure this stuff out than i am capping.
My trigger finger is getting extremely itchy.

SPECS: { Mac G4 (OS 9.1) Bloody fast(600+)/tons of Ram (500+), 128k Rage Pro, Kensington Optical Mouse.}

Help soon please, cannot play without UTPure.

searching that is indeed where I found 5x. (Midnight interactive forums).

Who actually programs UT Pure?
Is there not a developers website or something,
where does admin get the latest version?

It's a real pain tracking it down on the web.

Anyway, back in the saddle and warming up my rockets.

Normally, we post the version we are running on the files page. With version 5x, we were asked to hold off on posting it publicly until final release. Sorry for the confusion.

Thanks Stealth, the 5x version I got yesterday
seems to work fine.

I played for a couple of hours with no problems.

Although in one game (Snowblind) there was
an enemy I could see carrying the flag.
When I nailed him the flag disappeared,
he actually was NOT carrying the flag.

This happened only on Snowblind and
only with one particular player.

I have the original UT. V 436 w/ all bonus packs.

I downloaded UTPure 5x from midnightinteractive.com

That did it.

I think 5x is still being tested. StealthDP was going to
add it to the files page when it's proven ok.
