So I decided to try the demo for SpeedTree, and I gave up on SpeedTree RT. Well when I load up my Colorado Blue Spruce (after following the tutorial) it isn't textured in Max! Does anyone have an idea as to how I can fix this? I'm getting some failed to copy texture errors.

This sounds like a 2k4 content creation issue.

Would using Speedtree for UT2004 be copyright infringement?
You might want to ask if you can use it first rather than risk a pulling of a map or even worse lawsuits.

No, this wouldn't be copyright infringment. I'm not using SpeedTree RT - just the original versin of SpeedTree. I can make my tree with th program, and import it into Max, then export it to UT2004. This is perfectly legal, but the tree doesn't come into Max textured and it's really throwing me a loop.
